[Case Study] Establishment of Control Points in Aerial Photogrammetry
Introducing examples using the network-based RTK method!
We would like to introduce a case study by Fujiyama Co., Ltd. on the use of network-based RTK in the installation of reference points for aerial photogrammetry. Aerial photogrammetry requires reference points for photo referencing, and the work area is extensive, with measurements typically achieving 3-4 reference point accuracy based on public coordinates. In this case study, we utilized a network-based RTK method for the installation of 36 reference points over a work area of 25 km² during the boresighting and accuracy verification of the POS system used for aerial photogrammetry. The work area this time was flat, with good visibility from above and favorable mobile phone reception, making it a suitable environment for surveying. 【Benefits and Effects】 - Observations can be made with a single device - Short observation time without the need to consider line of sight - Reduction in the number of workers and shortening of the construction period - Work can be carried out with less than half the man-hours compared to conventional methods *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
